Microneedling

Microneedling is administered with a handheld rolling device that contains hundreds of small needles. These needles can range between 0.25 and 3 millimeters long. First, we apply a hair growth serum to the scalp. This serum will also allow the roller to glide easily across the scalp. Then, we will roll the needles across the scalp, creating microinjuries deep into the middle layer of the skin.. Microneedling also helps the growth product penetrate even deeper. The microinjuries stimulate a process of healing in the scalp. During this healing process, the skin produces more collagen and fibers, which can also strengthen the hair follicles.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injections

Platelet-rich plasma, also known as PRP, has become one of the most popular, natural, and effective skin rejuvenation treatments! PRP treatments use your body’s own growth factors from your blood to stimulate and regenerate damaged hair follicles. First, we draw the patient’s blood. Then, we place the blood in a centrifuge to separate the rich and poor plasma. Once the plasma has been separated, we isolate the platelets from the blood and are left with a substance called platelet-rich plasma. By injecting PRP into the thinning areas, we increase blood flow to the scalp and encourage new cell growth.

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT)

Low Level Laser Therapy (LLLT) is a quick and painless treatment for hair loss. At Rejuvenate, we use the Sunetics Clinical Bio-Stimulation Laser. During the treatment, the patient sits in a chair, while the laser sits above the scalp. These low level lasers are often referred to as “soft” or “cold" lasers, since they do not emit heat, sound, or vibration. Each treatment lasts only 20 minutes, and there is no downtime. The Sunetics Laser decreases inflammation, increases blood circulation to the follices, and increases the ATP production to repair the weakened follicles. Low level laser therapy has proved to stabilize hair loss over the entire scalp and regrow hair in the frontal and temporal areas of the scalp, where even Rogaine and Propecia have not been as effective.
