Before we start the deep cleansing process, we begin with a mild dermaplane to allow for a deeper cleansing and penetration of nutrients. Dermaplaning gently removes peach fuzz, facial hair and dead skin cells. This is a painless exfoliation technique that reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, allows makeup to be applied flawlessly, and allows for increased product absorption.Cleanse
Our Medical Esthetician will glide a radial tip over the skin, emitting cleansing and hydrating nutrients, while simultaneously extracting impurities and unclogging pores. Blackheads, dirt, and other impurities will be suctioned through the handpiece. For patients with oily and/or acne prone skin, salicylic acid will also be applied during this process to help control oil production. The nutrients we use for cleansing the skin are derived from a combination of fruit acids and lactic acid. By pairing dynamic ingredients with mild ingredients, we can provide a deep cleanse that is gentle on the skin. The ingredients include lactic acid, hyaluronic acid, bamboo extract, cauliflower mushroom extract, antioxidants, and peptides. Lactic acid is our main ingredient as it is a deep exfoliator and helps improve the skin's natural moisture factor. For those with oily or problematic skin, we will add a second specialized solution containing salicylic acid to calm active skin concerns.Exfoliation through Microdermabrasion
The second exfoliation step in this treatment uses Diamond abrasion tips made from natural diamond chips, which provides an even deeper exfoliation. Depending on your skin type, we will choose a particular tip to provide a safe treatment with maximum results. Through vacuum pressure and microdermabrasion, the diamond abrasion tip exfoliates dead skin and impurities, which will allow our selected nutrients to absorb deep into the skin.Personalized Nutrient Penetration through Electroporation
Electroporation is a microbiology technique which uses an electrical field to boost permeability of the cell membrane. Electropulses will disrupt the phospholipid bilayer and open the thinner channels of the epidermis. While the electric current is active, physical skin-cell rearrangement will create new pores and channels for the solution to penetrate through. While peptides are known for the inability to break the skin, we are able to penetrate peptides deep into the skin through electroporation. Once the electropulses stop, the pores will close.
