High Concentrate PRP for Hair Restoration

Discover Advanced Hair Regeneration with Platelet Rich Plasma!

If you are one of the millions of American men and women who suffer from some level of thinning hair or hair loss, you understand just how much of an impact hair loss can have on both your appearance and your self-confidence. For many years, men and women facing hair loss were faced with two stark choices: expensive, artificial-looking hair replacement surgery or simply accepting it.  Today, however, there is a significantly better option: non-surgical, minimally-invasive hair restoration that utilizes the power of your own body to regenerate damaged hair follicles and begin to regrow your own hair!

What Makes Our PRP Hair Restoration Different

High Concentrate PRP (platelet rich plasma) therapy is an advanced technique for boosting the power and effectiveness of hair regeneration treatments.  When used in conjunction with laser hair restoration, PRP helps to stimulate the hair follicles for healthier, stronger, more robust hair growth. For many years, follicles that were no longer producing hair were thought to be completely dead. However, recent studies indicate that in many cases, these unproductive follicles are simply dormant, injured, compromised, or otherwise non-productive; and in fact, they may still be capable of hair growth for 5-8 years after first signs of appearing “dead."  The powerful growth factors found within your body’s own platelet rich plasma (PRP) activate adult stem cells within these unproductive hair follicles, as well as promotes localized cell growth and the formation of new blood vessels to feed the regenerated hair follicles. All PRP is not created equal, as we only use "High Concentrate" PRP. Most practices offer conventional PRP, which is adequate, but our advanced technology and protocols can yield 7-10 times the amount of growth factors, compared to conventional PRP processes, yielding a much higher level of success to your results. We customize each and every treatment we perform, so you can be confident that your hair restoration procedure safely and effectively produces the full, healthy hair you have been dreaming about.

Is PRP Hair Regeneration Right For Me?

PRP Injection Therapy is highly recommended for any man or woman with hair loss or thinning hair, but who is not interested in or ready for surgical hair replacement procedures.  This revolutionary new solution for hair loss, or for the delay and prevention of additional hair loss is ideal for individuals suffering from a variety of specific medical concerns relating to hair loss, including:
  • Hypotrichosis: Genetic condition causing abnormal hair patterns and/or no hair growth
  • Male Pattern Hair Loss: PRP has shown to be especially effective in the early phases of balding or when the patient has a significant amount of miniaturized hair
  • Female Pattern Hair Loss: PRP can be a highly effective countermeasure for female pattern hair loss in both the early and advanced phases
  • Alopecia Areata: Hair loss in round patches
  • Alopecia Totalis: Total loss of all hair from the scalp
  • Other hair loss conditions related to metabolic complications,  iron deficiency, and/or medication side effects

Your PRP-Enhanced Hair Restoration Procedure

PRP is an ideal way to boost the effectiveness of laser hair restoration, without adding significantly to treatment time or recovery time!  PRP can be added to any laser hair restoration procedure, and has proven highly effective on the entire scalp or a localized area (i.e. eyebrows, beard).  The typical PRP hair regeneration treatment involves the following steps:
  1. A small sample of your blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to isolate the platelet rich plasma (PRP) and activate the powerful growth factors within the PRP
  2. A local anesthetic is applied to the target area to numb that area of the scalp
  3. The PRP is injected into the target area, focusing primarily on areas where the hair loss is most severe.  The injections are administered using a very fine gauge needle in a matrix pattern across the scalp to maximize the regenerative power of the PRP.

Post-Procedure and Minimal Downtime

The recovery process after PRP therapy is usually very easy, and any discomfort can be mitigated with over-the-counter pain medication such as ibuprofen.  Some patients may experience mild swelling of the forehead for a day or two after the treatment, but it is not typical. Patients should avoid intense physical activity until the swelling has completely disappeared.  Normal hair washing can resume immediately after the treatment, and showering with hot water is recommended.  Recovery times and specific post-treatment instructions will also depend on the required recovery instructions following laser hair restoration. For many individuals, PRP offers amazing new hair growth and improvements in hair thickness and density as quickly as two months after the initial treatment, but optimal results will become visible in 4-8 months.  Improvement will gradually continue for up to one year!  Although most patients achieve excellent long-term results with just several treatments, follow-up visits (typically every four months) are required to track your progress and to determine whether additional procedures are needed to facilitate optimal hair growth.
